Following the success of MEB 2024, Benin is launching the second edition of the Month of Entrepreneurship (MEB), which will take place from November 1st to 30th, 2025. This initiative is led by the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (ADPME) in collaboration with the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Employment Promotion (MPMEPE), the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI-Benin), and other ecosystem partners.
This initiative is fully aligned with the implementation of the Government Action Program (PAG 2021–2026), particularly its second pillar, which aims to continue the structural transformation of the economy.
IYBA-SEED Benin is once again proud to be a committed partner and co-organizer of this series of events and meetings among ecosystem actors at both the local and national levels.
Why the MEB?
MEB 2025 is open to all actors within the entrepreneurial ecosystem: businesses, institutions, startups, associations, and technical partners wishing to contribute to the national momentum in favor of entrepreneurship.
The objectives are to promote an entrepreneurial culture among youth and women, strengthen the ecosystem, support local entrepreneurs, and link entrepreneurship with social impact.
A rich and inclusive program
From November 1st to 30th, across the entire country, the program will include: masterclasses, workshops, panel discussions, climate fresco sessions, capacity-building activities, coaching sessions, dinner debates, networking opportunities, and professional meetings.
These events will take place in six major cities: Parakou, Abomey, Bohicon, Porto-Novo, Abomey-Calavi, and Cotonou, along with locally initiated projects labeled MEB2025 deployed throughout the territory.
