Togo is experiencing a growing entrepreneurial dynamic, driven by a youth and women determined to contribute to economic development. However, despite their creativity and willpower, many young entrepreneurs face major challenges: limited access to funding, lack of visibility, fragmented support, and weak dissemination of an inclusive entrepreneurial culture.
It is in this context that the activities of the IYBA-SEED Togo team fit in, aiming to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems by improving coordination among stakeholders, access to financial and non-financial services, and promoting an inclusive and inspiring entrepreneurial culture.
The Power of Digital for Entrepreneurship
Beyond support and funding mechanisms, entrepreneurial success also depends on changing mindsets and valuing local initiatives. Content creators and influencers, thanks to their proximity to communities and their ability to influence behaviors, are strategic potential ambassadors for promoting entrepreneurship.
That is why, in partnership with Sigma Corporation, an international 360° marketing communication agency, we launched a call for applications to select 20 influencers. These influencers will be trained to become communication relays and inspiring mentors, capable of changing perceptions about entrepreneurship, highlighting local success stories, and creating a collective dynamic to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs.
A Call for Applications for a complete training
The call for applications, launched from July 25 to August 8, 2025, selected 20 Togolese content creators and influencers. They are participating in an intensive 4-month training program. These beneficiaries, active on various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, blogs), were chosen for their potential to inspire and their commitment to local entrepreneurship.
